This class is for seniors 55 and over who are determined to live life on their own terms. This basic strength and conditioning class helps seniors stay active and independent. “Use it or Lose it” has never been more aptly applied than to our daily movements as we age. As movements become difficult or painful we simply avoid them or stop moving which leads to ever increasing lack of mobility. This class meets the needs of each individual with safety as our number one priority. Class members typically see marked improvement in strength, balance and overall sense of well being. This self named class is a great opportunity to make new friends and socialize. They meet prior to their class time for coffee and fellowship.
